I have a quick question for you…
And it might make you pause and think for a while, because it’s a good one.
Here goes: “What’s going to feed you in 10 years OR 20 years and beyond that?”
I’ve been thinking about this question a lot lately, because it’s kind of the opposite of what everyone is focusing on in this online space of ours. We’re constantly thinking about what’s going to feed us today, and tomorrow.
Concepts like “First dollar first” ask you to think about what online marketing tactic you can pull out of your toolbox to make a buck tomorrow?
And yes, you need to eat tomorrow, no doubt.
I still remember those early days in my other online businesses that i tried, where the money wasn’t coming in at all… and I tried SO many things to get something working in my business.
Each new online course had me trying a different technique to get traffic or customers. FAIL!!
Every blog post had me tweaking my website for the “ultimate” quick fix to conversions.FAIL!!
I kept on planting seeds and then pulling them out to plant something new the following week and month.
Needless to say, it didn’t go well. My husband Doug watched me struggle, and tried to keep the peace by changing the topic of conversation whenever my business came up.
“Let’s talk about something else, honey..He would say…”
Today things are totally different.
My new business STRESS FREE LIFE is a business has allowed both of us to work from home, move out of the city to the country to raise our 2 children, and do work that’s fulfilling for both of us… all while paying the mortgage, and putting food on the table and having freedom of time to be with our family and friends and travel all around the world.
I’m no longer asking myself, what’s going to feed me tomorrow?
I’m interested in that longer term question.
Even though i’m getting results quickly, i’m also building a profitable, sustainable, and valuable business… that’s going to feed me creatively and literally in 10 years. And beyond.
You can’t build that kind of business by focusing on the quick buck.
One of the things I wish I could go back and tell my younger start-up self is this: if you’re getting that nudge, don’t hesitate. Take action. Surround yourself with other entrepreneurs who are making it happen.
In short my STRESS FREE LIFE business has changed my life.
That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing this business information and helping others create their very own STRESS FREE LIFE..
